Recently, I was honored to be awarded the GLL Sport Foundation Legacy Ambassador Award for 2026/27.
It’s something I don’t take lightly.
For me, this isn’t just recognition — it’s responsibility. Responsibility to represent something bigger than myself, and to continue building at a level that reflects the opportunities I’ve been given.
The Standard Is Better
Everything I do is built around one idea: becoming better.
Not just in sport, but in mindset, discipline, leadership, and how you show up every day.
Basketball has always been a foundation, but it’s never been the full picture. It’s a tool — one that creates structure, builds confidence, and gives people a way to move forward, no matter where they’re starting from.
Being better is not a one-time decision.
It’s a daily standard.
The Work Behind It
Through my work in the community, I’ve focused on creating environments where people can develop both physically and mentally.
Sessions that aren’t just about playing — but about learning:
- discipline
- consistency
- leadership
- resilience
The goal is simple: give people a space where they can grow, push themselves, and build something for themselves through sport.

Shared Vision, Real Impact
Being part of the Better x Pillars of the Community campaign is a reflection of that alignment.
It highlights something important — that real impact happens when the right people, systems, and environments come together with a shared purpose: improving lives through movement, structure, and opportunity.
This isn’t about visibility.
It’s about creating something that actually lasts.
What Comes Next
This is just the beginning.
The focus now is on building programmes that run consistently, grow organically, and give people a clear pathway — whether that’s through basketball, fitness, or personal development.
Something structured.
Something scalable.
Something that continues, with or without me in the room.
For Those Who Align
Everything I’m building is open to people and organisations who think the same way.
Those who believe in:
- long-term impact over short-term attention
- structure over noise
- and building something real within communities
If that’s you, you’ll understand the direction this is going.

Keep Building. Keep Showing Up. Keep Getting Better.
This work continues through the ICanWin Foundation, alongside the support and alignment of organisations committed to improving communities through sport and wellbeing.
