Besides my family, I would probably have to say £2 chicken and chips. I know it’s probably the worst thing in the world, but I love it dearly. I do only eat it once every 6 months (wink).

The thing that frustrates me most is the thought of failure or not achieving something I set out to do. I also get really unnerved when people walk closely behind me.

I really enjoy watching movies, I read a lot of graphic novels and I love roller skating whenever I can.

Personally, I would have to say I admire my dad and my brothers; they have always inspired me to be a better person and any success I have, I attribute to them.

Who inspired you to pursue your dream of playing professional basketball?

A.
My dad – he told me that I could do anything that I wanted to do if I worked hard for it. I believed him, so pushed myself to achieve.

What made you want to become a professional basketball player?

A.
My year 6 P.E. teacher was always asking me to play in the basketball team because I was the tallest kid in the class. After I gave in and started playing, I really loved it. I knew it was what I wanted to do from that moment on.
